Andrew and Ruth Newlove with their four children have been missionaries in the Philippine Islands since 2011. The Newlove Family started and run ALIVE Inc. and starting ALIVE Bacnotan Church in August 2016. Andrew is a second generation missionary, brought up in the Philippines he speaks the local and national languages, Ilokano and Tagalog. After serving for 15 years Andrew’s parents returned to England and now pastor Family Life Church, Thirsk. Ruth was born and raised in Teesside, and from an early age desired to be a missionary in Asia. Her father was an Itinerant Evangelist and now her parents pastor Amazing!Grace Church, Teesside. We aim to do good works of every kind to show the Love of God in each situation. Ways We Love: Soccer Ministry: Driving Forward: We provide Driving Learner Permits for some of the young men in our church.Andrew is currently teaching six of them to drive a car, and will help them to get their licences. With Andrew’s mechanical background he is also training them the basics of mechanics to maintain a vehicle. Special Delivery: We have many donations from the UK: Clothing and shoes from personal donors and also from Kids Around the World Charity. Football kits and equipment donated though KIT AID.
